The Nursery Timetable
8:40 – 9:00 = Arrival and 'busy learning time'
9:00 – 9:15 = Good morning, calendar and story time
9:15 – 9:20 = Wake and Shake
9:20 – 9:30 = Phonological awareness session
9:30 – 9:40 = Snack time
9:40 - 11:30 = Busy learning time and small group activities (includes Maths, PSHE and Topic)
11:30 – 11:40 = Lunch time routines
11:40 - 12:10 Lunch in the hall
12:10 - 12:40 = Busy learning time
12:40 – 12:50 = Toothbrush club
12:50 – 13:05 = Good afternoon, calendar and story time
13:05 – 13:15 = Wake and Shake
13:15 – 13:25 = Phonological awareness session
13:25 – 14:30 = Busy learning time and small group activities (includes Maths, PSHE and Topic) [Afternoon snack at 2pm]
14:30 - 14:40 = Phonological awareness session
14:40 - 15:10 = Story time and busy learning time.
Drop off and Pick Up
Drop Off: Children attending morning sessions arrive at nursery for 8:40am and children attending afternoon sessions will arrive at 12:10pm. Children are greeted by familiar staff members and are signed in on our daily register.
Pick Up: Morning sessions finish at 11:40am and afternoon sessions at 3:10pm (2:40pm for full day children who are not staying for the end of school day session). Please ensure that you have provided a safe password to the school office prior to your child starting nursery.
Lunch Times
Children attending full day sessions have the option of ordering a hot school meal or a packed lunch from home. More details on ordering hot school meals will be made available when your child starts at Truro Learning Nursery.
