Year 4 is an exciting and energetic classroom. This year, we work hard to develop children's increasing independence and confidence in what they can achieve both in and out of school. We encourage the children to think about how they learn best and how to think for themselves. 

 

Our classroom is a safe place where kindness, collaboration and support are valued. Every child's contribution is important and children are encouraged to develop into well rounded young people by using our school values. 

 

Reading Records Checked - Monday. Please listen to your child read 5 times a week and continue to record in their reading record. 

 

Spellings - given out Monday and tested the following Monday. 

 

Sumdog - work set every Monday

 

Topic Homework - a piece of work linked to Science, History, Geography, Art or DT. Given out on Monday and checked the following Monday.
