Welcome to Pentire
In year 5, we aim to work as a team, supporting each other's learning through sharing of ideas, discussion and a collective willingness to succeed. We value each individual for their own unique perspective and foster an environment of acceptance and respect for each other.
Reading records checked - Friday, books changed when needed. Please listen to your child read 5 times a week and continue to record in their reading record.
Spellings - Given out on Friday and tested the following Friday.
Sumdog - Checked every Friday.
Topic Homework - A piece of collaborative work linked to Science, History, Art, DT or Geography - checked every Friday.
This half term, PE is on Monday and Thursday - Children to come to school dressed in school PE kit and trainers.
