Our EYFS team manage a well organised and planned classroom, with a variety of high quality indoor and outdoor resources. We are lucky to enjoy a large outdoor patio area and dedicated field for our children, in addition to our whole-school dedicated outdoor learning area. 

Our P.E. days are MONDAY and FRIDAY. Please send your child to school wearing their P.E. kit every Monday and Friday. 

Reading records are checked every FRIDAY. Please ask your child to read their phonics book to you at least five times each week. Record each time your child reads to you in the Reading Record, along with any comments. 

Your child will choose a library book every Friday for you to read with him/her for pleasure. Please return on Friday. 

Please check your Tapestry account regularly to stay up to date with your child's learning and to keep informed of his/her next steps across the curriculum.

Here is an example of our Autumn 1 daily routine:

 8:30 - 9:00     Children arrive, put their belongings away, and practise writing sounds (RWInc phonics).

 9:00 - 9:15      Register and morning routine: weather tracking and calendar.

 9:15 - 9:20      Rhyme time.

 9:20 - 9:45     Phonics. 

 9:45 - 10:00    Snack time.

10:00 - 10:15    Maths or Literacy Input (PE on Tuesdays).

10:15 - 11:05     Busy learning time (Bike track on Fridays).

11:05 - 11:15      Maths or Literacy Input.

11.15 - 11.40      Storytime and wash hands.

11:40 - 12:45     Lunch time and play time on the field.

12:45 - 12:50    Register. 

12.50 - 13:00    Dough disco. 

13:00 - 13:10     Topic/PSHE or RE Input.

13:10 - 14:35     Busy learning time (Outdoor learning on Tuesdays).

14:35 - 14:45    Rhyme time. 

14:45 - 15:00    Play time on the field.

15:00 - 15:10     Home time routines.
